Dr. Daniel Reames earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the North Carolina State University in 2004. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

He complete two optometric internships: 1) Los Angeles, CA under Dr. Jon Vogel in primary care optometry and specialty contact lens fittings; and, 2) Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salisbury, NC in hospital based optometry.

Dr. Reames is a member of the American Optometric Association and the South Carolina Optometric Association.
