J. Michael Porter, O.D.

Dr. Porter received his doctorate of optometry degree from Ohio State University. He was a member of the varsity ice hockey team while in undergraduate school at Ohio State. His experience in optometry includes two years in the NROTC and three years in the U.S. Navy Medical Service Corp, where he served as lieutenant. Before moving to Statesboro, Dr. Porter established a private optometric practice in Geneva, OH. His areas of special interest include eye diseases and children’s vision.
