LORD EYE CENTER NOW OFFERS
LASER VISION CORRECTION
Lord Eye Center in Statesboro now offers laser vision correction for
nearsightedness and astigmatism utilizing state-of-the-art laser equipment.
Procedures are performed by Dr. Tom Campen, M.D., a board-certified
ophthalmologist who is among the best trained and respected laser
surgeons in Georgia.
Dr. Campen has performed over 11,000 laser vision correction procedures.
He has completed his undergraduate degree at Davidson College and
completed his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill. He completed his residency in immunology at the
University of Pennsylvania, his internship in internal medicie at The
University of Kentucky Medical Center, and his residency at The Medical
College of Georgia. An ophthalmology residency was completed at
Henry Ford and a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at LSU.
More than 1.5 million laser vision procedures have been performed in
the U.S. since 1987. With laser vision correction, most patients never
need to wear contacts or glasses again and nearly all patients can drive
and return to work within a day or two following the procedure.
