Dr. Eyler earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas. He graduated with honors in 2007 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry.

He completed internships in ocular disease at the Kansas City VA Hospital and Kaneophe Marine Base in Kaneophe, Hawaii.

He is therapeutically certified, (i.e., trained and licensed to diagnose and treat eye disease), to manage eye problems such as glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, infection and injuries.
